AVS Sewing Thread SSS-18/PL is a high temperature resistant thread made by twisting together S-2 Fiberglass and a strand of Stainless-Steel Wire. AVS Sewing Thread SSS-18/PL is engineered for use in the manufacture of high temperature textile parts.
Application
AVS Sewing Thread SSS-18/PL is intended for high temperature sewing applications with service temperatures up to 1600ºF (871ºC) requiring good seam strengths.
AVS Sewing Thread SSS-18/PL is ideal for sewing our E-glass fiberglass fabrics, our FLXGLAS® HT specialty fiberglass fabrics, and our standard AVSil® Silica Fabrics. Fabricated textile products include removable covers, blankets, insulation pads, and curtains.
