Experienced industry leader to drive commercial growth and integrate recent high-temp acquisitions
Alpha is pleased to announce the appointment of Francisca Schmidt as Global Business Director – High Temperature Solutions. Francisca joins Alpha with extensive experience in high-temperature technical textiles and commercial leadership, and will lead global commercial activities across Alpha’s High Temperature Textile business.
In this role, Francisca will:
Lead global commercial strategy for the High Temperature Textile business
Drive revenue growth and strengthen partnerships with key customers
Integrate and commercialize capabilities from recent high-temperature acquisitions (AVS Industries, Hi Temp Products of Canada, McAllister Textiles)
Align regional commercial activities and support technical sales initiatives in demanding industrial markets

Prior to joining Alpha, Francisca served as Chief Sales Officer of Belchem GmbH and President of Belchem USA, Inc., where she led global growth efforts for high-performance textile fibers and yarns. She is recognized in the industry for technical expertise, strategic leadership, and a customer-first approach.
