Alphaglas fabrics consist of a woven fiberglass substrate with
a PTFE coating. The fabrics are strong, highly cleanable,
chemical-resistant materials with superior performance features
for many electrical insulation, communications, food processing,
heat sealing, chemical processing, screen printing, power
generation, automotive and aerospace applications. Alphaglas fabrics
are available in several grades ranging from Economy, for
high-volume applications, to Premium, with a super-smooth
surface and superior release properties. Standard weights
are 3, 5 ,6 and 10 mil. Alphaglas can be specially ordered with crease,
tear-resistant and semi-conductive coatings, bondable surface
treatments, and as a porous fabric.
