Manufactured from woven fiberglass fabric coated with either PTFE or silicone, Alphaglas belts are carefully custom fabricated to meet specific application requirements. Alphaglas belts have superior release surfaces and outstanding thermal, chemical, mechanical and electrical properties. Alpha PTFE-coated belts are available in both non-porous and porous styles with a variety of grades and splice methods. Alphaglas PTFE and silicone belts are non-toxic, odorless and tasteless. Both products comply with the requirements of FDA regulation 21 CFR177.1550 for use in food processing, packaging and handling. Porous belts are used to convey, process and handle materials that require the passage of air, gases or liquids directly through the belt.
