At sea, safety for
people and equipment is the highest priority. Quick action can
make the difference between life and death, and it may be critical
that materials and their safety-related properties are recognizable
at a glance. In addition, salt spray and confined spaces present
challenges not found in other work environments.
Alpha Associates marine products offer unique service and protection
characteristics for shipboard applications combining extreme working
temperatures with significant abrasion and corrosion problems.
Alpha Associates marine products include materials for insulation,
jacketing, flange and filter covers, reflective curtains and flange
fuel-spray shields. Alpha marine products are found in shipboard
hulls, bulkheads, overheads and ducts requiring thermal and/or
acoustical treatment, as well as in submarine hull and frame sections
requiring sound abatement properties. Alpha's laminated products
also protect shipboard chilled water lines and serve as vapor-barrier
jacketing and lagging.
Alpha marine products have received all applicable U.S. Naval
and Coast Guard approvals.
