Noise attenuating
baffles are coated high-performance fiberglass blankets used to
reduce reverberant, or reflected, airborne noise energy on original
equipment and in many diverse industrial and architectural applications.
Alpha has developed a specially formulated vinyl coated fiberglass
that has a wide temperature range, can be easily installed and
cleaned, and is unaffected by moisture, humidity, dust, dirt,
oils and most chemicals. Alpha has also developed a line of vapor
retardant facings to be applied to rigid fiberglass board for
sound absorption and noise barrier composites.
